Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Breathing pure oxygen under pressure to support tissue repair, oxygenation and recovery from inflammation.
The most common tick-borne disease in the Northern Hemisphere, and one that often escapes timely diagnosis. We are looking for investors and partners to change how Lyme is detected, treated and managed.
What is inside the platformGlobal perspective
An estimated 14.5% of people worldwide carry antibodies from a past Borrelia infection. Lyme can leave lasting inflammation and immune effects, and a growing body of research links chronic infection to the onset or progression of age-related conditions.
Share of people with antibodies, studies using two-tier testing
National studies range from 2.7% in Norway to 20% in Finland.
Seasonality
Lyme cases follow the life cycle of ticks. Most infections happen in late spring and summer, when small nymph ticks are active and people spend more time outdoors, with a smaller rise in autumn from adult ticks. Knowing the season helps time prevention campaigns, testing and clinic capacity.

Lyme market in charts
Rising case numbers, investment from major healthcare companies and more precise diagnostic methods, including spectroscopy-based tests, are driving steady growth in both segments.
Clinical research
The United States hosts the largest share of Lyme trials, while European countries together account for about half. Since 2019 the field has averaged around 10 new studies a year, driven by diagnostics and prevention research.

The challenge
Late diagnosis, persistent symptoms and fragmented data still hold back patient care, research and investment.
Antibody tests miss most cases in the first weeks, when treatment works best. Many patients never notice the tick bite or the rash.
Some patients still struggle with fatigue, pain and cognitive problems after standard antibiotics, often alongside co-infections.
Warmer climates and changing land use are pushing ticks into new areas, putting populations with little awareness at risk.
Surveillance, trials, companies and funding are tracked in separate systems, making gaps and opportunities hard to see.

Solutions for Lyme
Many patients still struggle with symptoms after standard antibiotics. Drawing on more than a decade of analytical work, consortium clinics combine cutting-edge and natural therapies from mitochondrial, space, restorative and functional medicine, tailored to each patient’s co-infections and complicating factors.
Breathing pure oxygen under pressure to support tissue repair, oxygenation and recovery from inflammation.
Alternating low- and high-oxygen breathing to train mitochondrial resilience and energy metabolism.
Filtering blood plasma to remove inflammatory and immune factors in selected patients.
Low-carbohydrate nutrition protocols to reduce inflammation and support metabolic health.
These protocols complement, and do not replace, standard antibiotic treatment. Evidence for their use in Lyme disease is still developing, and treatment is decided case by case by the clinical team.
